Senior Associate

Leonides is a Senior Associate of the Firm specializing in patents and trademarks prosecution and litigation, and civil, labor, and maritime litigation.

His practice involves patent drafting, Novelty/Patentability evaluation, invalidity determination, freedom to operate searches, IP audit, IP commercialization evaluation, and patent landscape studies. He has also advised and assisted clients on matters related to IP protection, compliance, and enforcement. Outside IP, he also handles civil, labor, and maritime litigation, including the streamlining, compliance, and alignment of company policies with existing labor policies and other general matters.

He is a Member of the Department of Science and Technology Fairness and Opinion Board (FOB) for the Pharmaceutical Industry, a licensed Chemist,  and a member of the Integrated Chemists of the Philippines.

He received his Bachelor of Laws degree from the Far Eastern University Institute of Law and obtained his degree in Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Santo Tomas. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2009.
