Atty. Augusto R. Bundang

Managing Partner
Augusto is the Managing Partner of Sapalo Velez Bundang and Bulilan Law Offices.

Atty. Bundang has been in active legal practice for more than 35 years and has handled numerous  cases in the areas of intellectual property & advertising, labor & employment,  commercial law and contracts, family and property relations, and general practice. He counsels organizations like the Association of Advertising Agencies of the Philippines (4As), the Ad Standards Council (ASC), the International Council for Small Business-Philippines (ICSB), and the Media Specialists Association of the Philippines (MSAP).  He is also a Director of the Licensing Executives Society-Philippines (LESP) and the Chairman of Your Kids My Kids Foundation, Inc. aside from being a Member of the Finance Committee of the Salesian Society of St. John Bosco.

Atty. Bundang likewise has more than 20 years of teaching experience in different Philippine colleges and is currently a Professional Lecturer at the Commercial Law Department, Ramon V. Del Rosario College of Business of the De La Salle University. He continues to give public talks on copyright, licensing, and labor from time to time.

He was a regular columnist for the national newspaper BusinessWorld for more than a decade and was, for many years, a Trustee of the Food for Hungry Minds School, Inc.  a middle school for the disadvantaged youth.  He also underwent training courses in Japan under the sponsorship of JICA and AOTS and was accorded an Honorary Membership in the Association of Fellows and Legal Scholars of the Center for International Legal Studies, Austria.

He obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree, major in Economics under a scholarship in 1985 and Bachelor of Laws Degree in 1989 from the Ateneo de Manila University. He was admitted to the bar in 1990.
